Two runners from Ethiopia have swept the Boston Marathon.  Lemi Berhanu Hayle won the 120th edition of the Boston marathon, with a time of two hours, 12 minutes and 45 seconds.  He’s just 21 years old and this was his first run at Boston.  But that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll make Ethiopia’s Olympic marathon team.  Other runners from that country are in next week’s London marathon, and have a chance at better times because the wind slowed runners this year at Boston.  29 year old Atsede Baysa of Ethiopia was the women’s winner in her first Boston marathon.  Her time was two hours, 29 minutes and 19 seconds.  She fell back earlier in the run because of pain in her left hamstring, but came back to win.
