All 12 boys and coach rescued from cave in Thailand

The entire Wild Boars soccer team and their coach have been rescued from the flooded cave in Thailand.

This mornings rescue mission involved 19 divers who worked to bring out the remaining four boys and their 25 year old coach. It was said that today would be the most difficult day, because along with the boys and the coach, a doctor and three Navy SEAL’s also had to come out.

The newly rescued boys are being rushed to the hospital where the other boys have been since they escaped the cave.

Yesterday’s mission took about nine hours, where four of the boys were rescued before operations were halted until this morning.

Thailand’s Prime Minister says the boys had been given anti-anxiety medication for the journey out of the cave.

The conditions of the boys remains unclear but officials have said the previous eight rescued are in “good health.”  They will stay in hospital to make sure none of them have infections or hypothermia. Two of the boys rescued are being treated for lung infections.

The boys and their coach had been in the cave since June 23rd. They were on a hike, when the cave became flooded and they had to retreat farther into the cave for shelter. They were found on July 2nd huddled together on a small ledge.
