Dozens of families who were displaced by a flood two weeks ago are facing more problems. Sunday they received a letter from the management of Medallion Corporation, telling them they had three days to collect their belongings and leave in order to  permit repairs to be carried out.

The letter threatens eviction for those who refuse to comply. The building is home to many lower income families, immigrants and people on disability, many of whom have no where to go.

The Hamilton Community Legal Clinic says the terms offered in the letter are not in accordance with provincial landlord-tenant law.
