Sunday marked the eleventh annual Hamilton Walk for Down Syndrome to support local programming and support for those with Down Syndrome and their families.

The event was held by the Down Syndrome Association of Hamilton, which provides advocacy, support, programming, social events, and more opportunities to over 100 families in the area.

Participants walked along Bayfront Park before joining in on some free activities, entertainment, and an opportunity to learn about community service organizations in Hamilton.

In Sunday’s event alone, the association raised over $100,000. Over the past 11 years, the walk has raised $1 million.
