A motorcyclist has died following a two-vehicle crash in Milton Sunday afternoon.

Halton police say the crash between a motorcycle and an SUV occurred in the area of Derry Road and James Snow Parkway just after 3:00 p.m.

Police say the motorcycle was travelling eastbound when it struck the SUV in the intersection. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two occupants of the Hyundai SUV, a 79-year-old woman and an 86-year-old man, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the crash is still under investigation.
