CF Lime Ridge Mall redevelopment to include 12-storey residential towers

First Published:

While Cadillac Fairview Lime Ridge Mall is a shopping destination, it could soon be its own community. CF has submitted an application to the city that would see two 12-storey residential towers with 320 units.

The proposed project would also see the demolition of the old Sears building. It is currently being occupied by Urban Behaviour.

Lime Ridge is one of three malls in Hamilton that are being redeveloped, proposals have also been submitted for Eastgate Square with 5,000 residential units and Hamilton City Centre, next to Jackson Square with a proposed 2,000 units.

A meeting will be held this Thursday to review the plans for the redevelopment at CF Lime Ridge.
