Carrie Underwood to headline Friday night of Hamilton’s Grey Cup Music Festival

Country superstar Carrie Underwood will headline the Built in the Hammer Grey Cup Music Festival on Nov. 17.

The Grey Cup Music Festival will run from Nov. 16-19 and feature both free and ticketed events.

The Grey Cup game will take place at Tim Hortons Field on Nov. 19.

Underwood’s performance at Hamilton’s FirstOntario Centre will be her first appearance in the city since 2016.

Underwood has won eight Grammy Awards and 16 ACM Awards, including three for entertainer of the year. She is the first woman to win twice and the only woman to receive it three times.

She also holds the record for most CMT honours with 25.

Pre-sale access to tickets for all Built in the Hammer Grey Cup Music Festival concerts will be open first for all Grey Cup ticket holders.

The general public will be able to purchase tickets to Underwood’s concert on Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. ET.
