Canadians are still impacted by power outages after winter storms

Utility workers across Canada are still working to restore electricity to thousands of people due to the fierce winter storms.
New Brunswick experienced one of the biggest power outage events of the last 25 years, but power has been restored to the majority of the population as of Tuesday.
Only 183 customers in New Brunswick still live with no power according to the utility’s outage map on Tuesday afternoon.
“If you have power, please do what you can to help your friends and neighbours, especially seniors, families with small children and those who are vulnerable,” says Energie NB Power in an announcement.
As of early this morning, more than 99,000 customers throughout the province have been restored. We are moving NB Power crews, contractors and mutual aid partners to the areas with extended outages to continue our restoration effort. pic.twitter.com/GkzsCKZ0TR
