York Regional Police say Canada’s Wonderland was evacuated on Sunday night because of a fire in the water park.

Police say a structure near Splash Works caught fire just before 11:30 p.m.

“Park is being evacuated as a precaution because of blowing smoke,” police said in a Tweet.

Police say Vaughn Fire assisted in evacuating the park. No injuries were reported.

Canada’s Wonderland said on Twitter that Splash Works is closed for the day, but the rest of the park is open and operating normally.
