Canada-wide warrant issued for federal offender known to be in Niagara region

Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 35-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant who is known to frequent the Niagara region.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad describes Tyler Fenton as six foot and 200 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He has several tattoos, including a full sleeve on his left forearm, portrait of a friend on his left calf, clock with flowers on his right forearm, praying hands on his right shoulder, skull on his left shoulder and star on his left wrist.

He is currently serving a seven-year and six-month sentence for two counts of armed robbery, two counts of robbery, possession of a prohibited weapon (firearm), assault, drug trafficking charges and weapon-related offences.

Fenton is wanted for breach of statutory release.

Police say Fenton is known to frequent Niagara Falls, Port Colborne, St. Catharines and Welland.

Anyone having contact with this offender or information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the investigators at 416-808-5900.
