Canada-wide warrant issued for federal offender known to be in Hamilton, Halton

Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 43-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant who is known to frequent Hamilton and the Halton region.

The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad describes Trevor Charlton as six feet tall and 210 pounds with green eyes and brown hair or a shaved head.

Officers say Charlton has the name “Kristan” tattooed on his left arm, as well as tattoos on his right arm, abdomen and on both shoulders.

He is currently serving a four-year and three-month sentence for six separate offences, including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and uttering threats to cause death or harm.

Police say he is known to frequent the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton and the Halton region.

Charlton is wanted for breach of statutory release.
