There was plenty of Christmas spirit in Burlington today.

About 20 000 people lined the streets for the 50th annual Burlington Santa Claus parade.

More than 80 organizations took part including marching bands, colourful floats, clowns and mascots.

Our CHCH community cruiser also took part in the annual tradition, but the main attraction of course was Santa.

The Burlington Teen Tour band boosters collected non-perishable food items in support of local food banks. Hats, mittens and gloves were also collected for local homeless shelters.
