Bulldogs play their final regular season home game in Hamilton

This was an historic day for many people in Hamilton but a very sad one.
The city’s Hamilton Bulldogs of the Ontario Hockey League played their last regular season home game Sunday before heading out of town for what’s supposed to be just a few years.
But fans are afraid the team may be gone forever.
The first puck dropped at the start of the last game and within minutes the hometown Bulldogs had a one-goal lead.
There was plenty to cheer about but fans fear this is the end.
The city is planning extensive renovations to First Ontario Place and the Bulldogs needed somewhere else to play.
So they’re moving to Brantford for three years.
Brantford has an option to extend that, and there are fears in Hamilton the Bulldogs will stay there.
