HAPPENING NOW:

Brooklyn’s battle

It was a rapid deterioration for Brooklyn Mills.

An unknown medical condition claimed her athletic interests, a year of schooling, and her ability to walk.
In part two of her story, Maria Hayes looks at how Brooklyn is conquering Ehlers Danlos syndrome.

Although she hasn’t been cured, Brooklyn is successfully managing her pain.
As an expression of gratitude, her parents have joined forces with the foundation, improving the lives of children.

Their goal is to bring the same type of pain management centre to Ontario, that the Mills family had to pay for in the states.
