Brantford police seek man wanted in gas station robbery

Brantford police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of robbing a gas station early Friday morning.

It happened shortly before 5:30 a.m. at a gas station on Colborne Street West near Oak Street.

Officers say a man with his face covered entered the business and demanded cash from an employee. He then stole a small amount of cash and fled the scene on foot.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Investigators say the white man was wearing a black zip-up hoodie, red face covering, black Air Jordan backpack with a grey logo, black and white mittens with yin and yang symbols, dark jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact the Brantford Police Service at 519-756-7050.
