Bars of gold, silver and cash worth $41K stolen from Niagara Falls home during break-in

Investigators are hoping the public can help identify two thieves who broke into a home in Niagara Falls and stole precious metals worth roughly $41,000.

Police responded to a break and enter in the area of Mountain Rd. and January Dr. on Nov. 27, 2021.

Detectives learned two suspects had smashed a glass door and entered the residence around 5:35 p.m.

The pair located a safe inside the home, forced it open and stole several bars and coins of gold, silver and platinum as well as some cash.

The suspects were both wearing baseball caps, masks, running shoes, hooded sweatshirts and gloves.

The first suspect was also wearing jogging pants with three stripes on the upper left leg area and the other suspect was wearing a satchel bag across their chest.
