Niagara police are asking residents in Grimsby and Lincoln to be on alert after armed suspects were seen trying to open car doors in the area.
Niagara Regional Police say they were made aware of the suspects after a resident in Beamsville noticed suspicious activity on their security camera.
The camera footage shows a person wearing a mask and carrying what appears to be a handgun walking around a home on Frances Cres. near Northgate Cres.

On Thursday, police received additional surveillance footage from a resident in Grimsby.
Officers say that although the locations are about 16 kilometers apart, they believe the suspects in the videos are the same in both incidents.
The suspects are all described as men wearing light coloured or camo clothing.
The method of transportation for the suspects remains unknown at this time.

Police ask residents in the Frances Cres. and Crown St. area of Lincoln and in the Lampman Dr. area of Grimsby to stay vigilant and check their security cameras.
