The winning ticket was purchased at Fortinos on Wilson Street in Ancaster.

Abdelnasir Bashir says he was at the grocery store checking his ticket when he discovered the big win.

Bashir has been a regular lottery player for the past 27 years.

He plans to purchase a house with his winnings.
