American company looking to restore the St. Catharines church where freedom seeker Harriet Tubman once worshiped

An American company is vowing to restore the historic Salem Chapel in St. Catharines.

The three-million-dollar project won’t start until the end of next year.

Those involved say the goal is to restore Harriet Tubman’s church to its original glory.
