Alek Minassian wanted attention and he got it, psychiatrist testifies

The latest on the trial of the man who killed ten people in a van attack in Toronto Yonge Street in 2018. 28-year-old Alek Minassian has admitted in court to planning and carrying out the attack, his state of mind at the time is the only issue at play in the trial. He faces ten first-degree murder charges and 16 attempted murder charges.

According to a Hamilton psychiatrist who testified at the trial Wednesday, Minassian wanted attention and he got it.
