Marijuana seized at Peace Bridge (Canada Border Services Agency)

One man has been arrested after the Canada Border Services Agency seized 73 kg of marijuana at the Peace Bridge in Fort Erie.

The CBSA says on March 20th a vehicle arrived at the Peace Bridge with goods the driver declared as Okra. During a second inspection, guards found 61 packages of vacuum-sealed marijuana.

The driver and drugs were turned over to the RCMP, who have not released the suspect’s name.
