Arrest in stabbing of pregnant woman

A man is in custody, after yesterday’s attack on a pregnant woman in central Hamilton.

Police had to break down the door of a three story apartment building at Main and Sanford to arrest the suspect. Just before five yesterday afternoon, a 20 year old woman ran to a convenience store across the street, and told the clerk she’d been stabbed.

She’s expected to make a full recovery.

Anthony Scott, 25, of Hamilton is charged with aggravated assault.
