May pre-trial for temple arson accused

A pre-trial date has been set for the three men accused in the 2001 Hindu Samaj temple arson.

Damien Marsh, 34, has been charged with arson and mischief, along with Christopher Pollard and Scott Ryan, both 33. The men are accused of burning down the temple just days after the 9/11 terror attacks.

A mosque was also vandalized.

The fire has been described as a hate crime and is believed to be part of the anti-muslim backlash sparked by the 2001 attacks.

Pre-trial proceedings are scheduled for May 13th.
