Cold alert cancelled as more snow arrives

It was a cold and messy commute for many this morning.

Hamilton city workers were out early this morning clearing sidewalks and roads. More than 5 centimetres of snow hit most parts of Hamilton overnight.

Environment Canada says the snow should end later this morning, but is warning of freezing rain later tonight. And while the snow may be a hassle, temperatures are warming. Hamilton public health has lifted the city’s cold alert.
