Fatal crash in Niagara Falls

A violent, single car crash has killed one person, and sent two others to hospital on the QEW Niagara, just south of McLeod Road.

A male in his 30’s was ejected from the car involved in the crash. That person was then run-over by another vehicle which did not stop. A woman in her 30’s was taken by air ambulance to hospital.

A third person, who wound up in the ditch, walked away with only minor injuries.

Collision reconstruction will be on the scene into Tuesday morning. Police are looking for the hit and run driver.
