Police update list of sex assaults

Hamilton police believe the man who’s been sexually assaulting women on a bike is responsible for more attacks. They say in addition to three incidents on Friday, the suspect is now believed to be responsible for three more assaults that took place Monday night.

They say at 4:50pm, a woman was walking north on Dundurn Street South just past Chatham Street when the man approached her from behind and touched her genitals. He fled on a bicycle.

Then at 5:30, a woman was walking along on Barton Street near Rosslyn Avenue when the suspect approached her and grabbed her behind. Again, he fled on a bike.

At 6:45pm, a young woman was walking with a friend on King Street East across from the McDonald’s near Gage Park, when the suspect hit her backside. He once again fled on a bicycle. Police are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
