Jay Page’s parents at murder suspect’s court date

The parents of Jay Page, a Hamilton man killed nearly ten years ago, were in court this morning for the appearance of his accused killer.

Roger and Marlene Page have vowed to attend every one of Richard Bennett’s court dates. The 37 year old is charged with first degree murder in connection to the 2004 death of their son.

Page – who was 29 – knew Bennett through work. When his girlfriend found his body in his east Hamilton apartment, his hands were bound, and he’d been stabbed several times.
