Niagara Regional Police are closing the books on an investigation into the sale of marijuana. The 6 month investigation led to the seizure of 59 pounds of pot worth $270 000.
The investigation into the sale of illegal drugs started back in July and concluded on Monday. Six search warrants were executed in Niagara and Toronto.
Police also moved in on homes on Vine Street, Strada Boulevard and Kirk Street in St.Catharines and one home in Toronto.
2 Toronto men were arrested as well as 3 from St. Catharines. In total there were 10 people arrested and 28 criminal charges.
Police seized 59 pounds of pot, $2,400 worth of cocaine, Fentanyl Patches, a small amount of heroin, nearly $16,000 in cash and one firearm.
