Taxi drivers protest Uber

A cabbie protest shut down a large part of downtown Toronto today.  And tonight they were protesting the ride-sharing service, Uber and calling on the city to enforce its bylaws.

At one point there was a dangerous exchange between a taxi driver and an Uber driver.

The protest clogged some major roads for several hours in downtown Toronto and it drew plenty of criticism from many citizens, prompting Mayor John Tory to call for an end to these kinds of dangerous and disruptive activities.
