New tool to find missing people in Hamilton

[projekktor id=’22117′]
When a loved one goes missing, Hamilton Police now have an extra resource to help reunite them with family members or caregivers. They’ve teamed up with the Medic Alert Foundation.
Medic Alert has been around for half a century, providing bracelets to people with cognitive challenges such as Alzheimer’s, dementia and autism.
It has a code on the back that links to important information about that person on Medic Alert’s database. It also tells police where the missing person has wandered off to in the past.
Durham Police are the only other force in Ontario to use this tool.
