Funeral held for victim of Muzik nightclub shooting

A funeral service was held this morning for one of the victims in the Muzik nightclub shooting last week.

26-year-old Ariela Navarro-Fenoy was hit by a bullet on Dufferin Street just north of the Dufferin gates of the Exhibition grounds during an after party for Drake’s OVO Fest.

A friend of Navarro-Fenoy says they got caught up in the gun exchange after several taxis refused to accept their fare because it was too small.

The shooting also claimed the life of 23-year-old Duvel Hibbert, who was gunned down at the venue’s outdoor patio.

There have been no arrests in the case and police are still looking to identify two persons of interest.
