Ice Cream Carnival

There’s an old saying , life is like an ice cream cone, enjoy it before it melts. And that’s exactly what people did at the Ice Cream Carnival at Westfield Heritage Village today.

The annual event has been an August long-weekend tradition for lots of local families for years.

Ice cream is the theme and visitors enjoyed the frozen treat while touring the village. Guests got to see how ice cream was made the old fashioned way with traditional ice cream churns.

If you missed it today you still have a chance to take part in the activities. The carnival continues tomorrow from 10am-4pm.

You can grab a bite to eat there or bring your own picnic.
