It is considered Canada’s largest outdoor aviary and it’s found its home in Welland. Wings of The World officially opened to the public this afternoon.
There are 32 species of exotic birds that will be housed in the aviary at the Welland Fairgrounds. The aviary gives a chance for residents to get up close and personal with the birds of the world, Eastern African Crown Crane, Australian Black Swan, Red Golden Pheasant, and Mandarin Ducks. As Jeyan Jeganathan explains, the list goes on and on.
