Parents of students at King George Public School in Brantford say they’re fed up with the bullying that’s happening there, and that the school hasn’t done enough to stop it. So they held a rally today, calling for the school board to stop the violence and make some changes.

Brittany Gogo spoke to one of the victims and has more.

9 year old Domenic Baillie is a victim of bullying “I don’t look forward to going to school anymore.”

“It breaks my heart” says Domenics dad, Mike. “It started out with pushing and teasing and kicking and then became punching.”

Domenic had to have 6 stitches after he was pushed from behind and hit his head on the pavement. “They snuck up behind me and smashed my head off the ground.”

His family says they’ve had enough, they’ve pulled Domenic out of school and are moving so he can go to a new one. They’ve had 2 meetings with the school board.

Domenic isn’t the only victim at this school. Parents and students held a rally outside King George calling for the board to do something about the violence.

More than 3-thousand people have signed an online petition demanding changes.
