Tire smashes into car on QEW

One person’s been hurt after a tire flew off a van and hit a Porsche on the QEW.

It happened in the Toronto-bound lanes at Casablanca in Grimsby. A passenger was treated at the side of the road for neck injuries. The driver of the van was not injured.

Traffic in the area was moving at a crawl at midday.
