Maternity care moves to St. Catharines general
The Greater Niagara General Hospital and Welland General Hospital will no longer be delivering babies.
Monday was the last day for maternity and child in-patient care at both hospitals. From now on, all of those needs in Niagara will be taken care of at St.Catharines General Hospital and on March 24th the new St. Catharines Hospital. The Niagara and Welland hospitals will still handle emergency care, 24-hours a day, seven-days a week.
