OPP investigate theft of statue worth $30K from home

OPP officers investigating after several pieces of jewellery and a statue worth roughly $30,000 were taken from a home in Norfolk County.
Police responded to reports of a break and enter around 10:45 a.m. on Thursday.
Investigators believe the thieves entered the home the day before between 2 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Once inside, the suspects locked a dog inside the spare room and proceeded to steal an iPad2 and a small jewellery box with two gold rings, and three gold necklaces inside. The thieves also took a box from a closet containing a porcelain and gold statue of a young girl and a cow that is valued at $30,000.
