The man who has been bringing Christmas joy to Burlington for decades dies after fall

A tragic accident at a popular Christmas light display in Burlington.

On Monday, 82 year old Doug Musson was up on a ladder trying to find out why water was dripping on the pathway visitors use to watch his display, when the ladder fell.  Musson was pronounced dead in hospital.

Doug Musson started the popular display and created all the figures featured on Spruce ave. in Burlington.

The family say they are devastated and debated not turning on the lights but decided Doug would want them on and he worked so hard.
