Marvin Ryder reflects on rising RIM
Huge news today for Research In Motion.
Credit card provider Visa has approved the smartphone company’s method for handling secure mobile payments. The BlackBerry maker says the green light from Visa is a big step towards offering global support for any device equipped with the technology and builds on an initiative by Canada’s three biggest wireless networks through their Enstream joint venture.
Research In Motion shares gained another five percent this morning. Marvin Ryder from the DeGroote School of Business discusses the development with Annette Hamm:
