Six car crash closes Hwy 6 in Glanbrook

Emergency services were called to a serious crash involving six vehicles at Highway 6 in Glanbrook this afternoon.

The crash happened the intersection of Highway 6 at Chippewa Road. When crews arrived they found one person trapped in one of the vehicles and one car was on its roof.

A spokesperson from Hamilton Fire said one person needed to be freed from their vehicle.

A total of four people were taken to hospital but all are expected to be okay.

OPP are investigating and at this time the lanes remain blocked.
