Pride and Remembrance Run takes strides for LGBTQ Community

The 22nd annual Pride and Remembrance Run took place today in the city of Toronto

Over 1,600 people took part in the annual five kilometre run or three kilometre walk.

The event coincides with Toronto Pride Week, is the largest of its kind in the country and one of the most popular running events in the GTA.

The Pride and Remembrance Association has raised over $1 million for local charities that support the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
