Hamilton police are investigating another attack on the city’s trails, this time near the Red Hill trail, east of Albion Falls.

Police say around 12:30 Thursday afternoon, a woman was jogging alone on the trail near Mud street and Prichard road. A man approached her from behind, made some comments and then attempted to grab her. She managed to break free and run to her car which was parked in the lot near the roadway.

The description of the man is similar to the person who attacked a woman on the Rail Trail last Friday. He’s described as a white male, between 5’7″ and 5’10” and was wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt.

Friday’s attack happened around 10:30 am on the Rail Trail near the Kenilworth access. In that case, a man wearing a blue hoodie was armed with a knife and dragged a woman off the trail.

The trails are connected and the locations are about an hour’s walk away.
