Hamilton man accused of throwing beer can at Jays game pleads guilty

A Hamilton man accused of tossing a beer can onto the field during a Toronto Blue Jays game has pleaded guilty to mischief under $5,000.
Ken Pagan turned himself in to police after they released a photograph of a man they called an “unsportsmanlike fan” in an effort to identify who threw the can. The tallboy narrowly missed Baltimore Orioles player Hyun Soo Kim as he made a catch during the Jays’ wildcard playoff game on Oct 4, 2016.
Pagan was an employee at Postmedia Network Inc. but according to the Canadian Press, a spokesperson from Postmedia said Pagan left the company after he was charged.
Pagan is to return to court on June 28.
