Cathedral High School in Hamilton won a national contest to bring some of Canada’s biggest science organizations to their school for their very own Innovation Expo.

This is not your average science fair. Students got to take a trip to space in the mobile planetarium and learn all about Newton’s First Law. Students say this is way better than reading a text book.

To win this Expo Cathedral High School submitted a video of students conducting their favorite experiments. 31 schools applied across Canada.

The Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo put the contest together as a way to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday.
