Burlington’s first tree planting of the year

The City of Burlington showed off their green thumbs this morning as they hosted it’s first tree-planting event of the year at Sherwood Forest Park.

The city has planned six events between April and June to help plant over 2,000. The goal is to plant 400 saplings at each gathering.

The next tree planting event will take place on April 29.
