Toronto man charged in 2009 shooting death of 18-year-old

Toronto police have arrested and charged a 28-year-old man in connection to a fatal shooting that happened seven years ago.

Christopher Reauz Shaw, 28, is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 18-year-old Tevon Mitchell (pictured below).

In 2009, Mitchell was at a birthday party in the area of Rouge Hills Dr. and Lawrence Ave. East when he was fatally shot. Police say a vehicle fled after shots were fired.

Shaw is scheduled to appear in a Toronto court today.
