Video shows man being struck by car, police investigate

Niagara Regional Police have released a surveillance video as they continue their investigation into an incident on December 8 in which a man was struck by a car.

The video shows a car hit a pedestrian and then flee the area before police arrived.

Witnesses can be seen rushing to help the victim. He was later taken to hospital with significant injuries but has been released.

One of the occupants of the vehicle is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, 5’10” with a muscular build.

The vehicle is described as a newer black sedan, similar to a Dodge Charger with break lights that extend across the trunk.

The video may be disturbing to some viewers.
