GTA steroid smuggling ring shut down, two men charged

A steroid smuggling operation has been shut down and two men have been charged following a 10-month long investigation by The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
The investigation was launched in February after steroids were seized at the CBSA Vancouver International Mail Processing Centre.
On December 1, officers from the CBSA Criminal Investigations Section executed search warrants and arrested Emilio Sinapi of Woodbridge, Ont. and Eric Singh of Mississauga, Ont.
They are both facing numerous counts of smuggling and possession, purchase, selling, exchange, importation, production, possession for the purpose of trafficking and conspiracy to smuggle anabolic steroids without authorization.
About 36,500 tablets, over 11 kilograms of raw powder, 15,000 millilitres of liquid containing steroids, a commercial pill-press and $12,000 in cash were seized during the investigation.
