Staying safe on the roads

It’s that time of year again. With holiday parties in full swing, Hamilton Police are advising the public to never drive impaired.
So far this month, approximately 3 000 vehicles have already been stopped during R.I.D.E Programs in the city. Constable Claus Wagner says, of those, there has been one impaired driving charge, and three over 80 charges laid.
Last December, 15 000 vehicles were stopped during R.I.D.E programs across the city.
