A study suggests it’s ok for some prostate cancer patients to take a “drug holiday” .

The research, done by the Canadian Cancer Society, shows men given intermittent courses of drugs that suppress the production of male hormones lived as long as men who received continuous therapy.

But the men on the intermittent course had fewer side effects.
